VITALFOAM MEMORY 5lb FOAM MATTRESS PADS (Medium Density) - Medium Density (5lb) 3" thick memory foam contour mattress pads made from an open-celled, viscoelastic, temperature sensitive material that senses body weight and temperature to automatically adjust for optimum sleeping comfort. This revolutionary new material relieves the pressure that causes poor sleep; tossing and turning; and aches and pains. Originally developed for the NASA space program, Orthopedic contour VitalFoam Memory foam bedding is without a doubt a space-age material. Hypoallergenic, antibacterial, antifungal and ozone resistant. Includes a zippered terry cloth cover. A Softer Memory Lite and VitalFoam 6lb Memory Firm foam is also available. Replacement 3" Mattress Pad and 8" Mattress zippered terry cloth covers can also be purchased.

Our VitalFoam viscoelastic contour Memory 5lb mattress pads are 3" of solid 100% memory viscoelastic foam with a ILD rating of 10 lbs. Our Memory 5lb Foam Mattresses consist of a 3" memory foam topper and a 5" foam base placed together in a zippered allergy free cover. The mattress foam foundation is a 5" thick piece of 2.1 density poly-foam. 

If your mattress was purchased within the last 5-7 years, you most likely will not need to order a foam base. Simply put the 3" memory foam mattress pad on top of your existing mattress.
